So where exactly is Arnside? Just a short ride to the heart of the Lake District, the City of Lancaster, and Morecambe. Use the West Coastline at Arnside Rail Station to visit London in the South, Manchester Airport, or Scotland. There’s a ton to do here at Arnside. We’ve added a few short videos of places to visit locally and for small day trips less than an hour away.
Blackpool is situated across the other side of Morecambe Bay and just an hour’s drive from Arnside. You can get the train from Arnside changing at Preston.
Levens Hall is a manor house in the Kent valley, near the village of Levens and 5 miles south of Kendal in Cumbria
Bowness on Windermere is situated in the heart of the lakes and a 25-minute drive from Arnside. Lots to do here for all, great trips out on the boats to Newby Bridge and the Steam Loco or north to Arnside and Grasmere.
Sizergh Castle is a stately home with a garden and estate at Helsington in Cumbria. Just a 15 minute drive from Arnside, walks, cafe.

Las historias crean imágenes en tu mente, lo que facilita recordar nuevas palabras. Además, leer es relajante y muy divertido.

En 2021, emprendí una nueva aventura: construir nuestra propia casa de bajo consumo energético en el Distrito de los Lagos. Es un proyecto largo (¡de varios años, de hecho!), pero cuando esté terminado, espero usar ese espacio para seguir publicando grandes libros y, tal vez, inspirar algunas historias más en el camino.
